Refund Policy
If your order is not satisfactory, you have 30 days from the date you received your order to exchange or return. Items must be returned unused with all labels still attached. Returns without a tag, used, or that do not meet our policy will not be accepted and will be sent back to the customer.
How to return
Please fill in the return or inspection form correctly and send it to the address mentioned on the form. Your refund will be issued to the original payment method used to place the order, or you will be sent another item. Shipping costs are not refunded.
All sales taxes are included in your refund if the order has been sent to a destination within the EU. It may take up to 10 business days for the refund to appear in your bank account.
Please note that it is not possible to return items with python leather from outside the EU due to CITES (Convention on International Trade in Endangered Species of Wild Fauna and Flora) regulations.
1. Right of withdrawal
As a customer, you may change your mind and withdraw from the sale contract with ROYAUMS B.V. (the "Vendor") for any reason and without penalty within thirty (30) days from the date on which you (or someone you nominate) received the products purchased from royaums.com, or reject products in certain circumstances (for example because they are faulty or not as described).
To exercise this right, notify the Vendor within thirty (30) days of receipt by requesting a return / exchange form via our Customer Service. Once you have exercised your right to withdraw, you must return the products to the Vendor without undue delay and in any event no later than thirty (30) days after that notice. All shipping costs (including shipping and return charges) must be covered by the customer.
The right of withdrawal does not apply to customised or personalised products, or to items that were opened or unsealed after delivery and that cannot be returned for health or hygiene reasons. Items damaged through fair wear and tear, by accident or through misuse are not considered faulty. If a product becomes faulty more than thirty (30) days after delivery, and certainly over 6 months, please contact Customer Service before returning any product.
2. Acceptance of your return
You will be notified if your order cannot be accepted as it does not meet our Return Policy. If so, the item(s) will be returned to you. If you do not wish to have the product(s) returned, the Vendor will retain the product(s) and the amount paid.
When exercising your right to withdraw, you will be liable for any decrease in value of the product(s) resulting from any handling other than what is necessary to verify their nature, characteristics and functioning. The Vendor may reduce your refund to reflect such decrease in value, up to the total amount paid. The return will not be accepted if products have been used, worn, damaged or washed; if the tag or protective seal has been tampered with, removed or not returned; or if packaging that is an integral part of the product (such as the dust bag) has not been returned. The ROYAUMS tag constitutes an integral part of each product.
3. Refund times and procedures
If you are entitled to return product(s) and have adhered to the conditions above, you will receive an email confirming the return has been accepted (including the amount of refund due) and the Vendor will process the refund. The refunded amount will be the full amount paid for the relevant product(s), subject to any deductions in section 2.
The Vendor will process the refund back to the original payment method used as quickly as possible and in any case within thirty (30) days from the date it was informed of your decision to return, once it has checked that the return was sent back in accordance with the conditions above.
Credit / debit card. Refund time depends on the card company but normally takes place within five to ten working days. The credit's value date will be the same as the original debit.
PayPal. Refunds are credited to your PayPal account and are visible immediately. Reimbursement to the credit card associated with your PayPal account depends on the company that issued the card.
4. Exchange procedure
Exchanges will only apply for the same item in a different size. If the new item is a different product (including a different colour), it will only be allowed to exchange it if there is no difference in price.
5. Warranty
All products sold by ROYAUMS are covered by a six (6) month warranty for lack of conformity.
